Adrenal fatigue, adrenal insufficiency and imbalanced cortisol rhythms are increasingly common nowadays. A normal cortisol rhythm should peak in the morning hours and then steadily decline throughout the day with the lowest levels at night. When the cortisol rhythm is reversed, our weight, energy, mood, sleep, thyroid function, digestion, metabolism and health suffer, telomeres shorten and cellular aging accelerates.

People are under more emotional, physical and mental pressures; overwhelmed, exhausted, stretched to their limits, overworked and overly stressed.

It’s important to realize that there are various forms of stress: chemical stress, physical, structural and mechanical stress, emotional, psychological and mental stress, thermal stress, environmental stress, spiritual stress, and electromagnetic stress! Whew!

Adrenal dysfunction, adrenal insufficiency and adrenal fatigue affects close to 80% of the population, and is the most common hormonal imbalance in women.
